HISTORY.  

The firm’s principals, Mervin Fatter and Barnaby Evans, have practiced architecture together in central Texas for the past eighteen years and have over 60 years of cumulative experience. In 1995 they began their partnership together with the vision to engage their clients in simple and practical design.

Mervin and Barnaby are personally involved with every project from initial conception to final documents, lending their cumulative knowledge and unique perspectives to the design process. Mervin's expertise includes project development, coordination, permitting and city negotiation, and construction administration. Barnaby's specialties include building design, document production, and construction administration.

Fatter & Evans Architects, Inc. offers feasibility studies, master planning, architectural design, and city permit processing services. All these project types represent a variety of challenges with which the firm has developed solid experience and unique perspectives to the design process.

The principals monitor all phases of the architectural process so that the client’s program is fully met and communicated.
